New for 2004: All OmegaStar series power amplifiers are now shipping with a new, high-speed EX output stage similar to that used in the Fet Valve amplifiers. This performance improvement raises them to a new level of audiophile performance and has earned the series a new name: the OmegaStar EX series.

The OmegaStar EX amplifiers are conceptually new and uniquely musical high-fidelity amplifiers. Their unique ability to create a “live is here,” emotional listening experience is due to breakthrough concepts exactingly executed.

The OmegaStar EX amplifiers have no overall feedback, so the input circuits simply cannot overload on an overall loop error correction signal that doesn’t exist. Feedback does exist, however, as a unique active and buffered powered feedback loop matched perfectly (electrically and thermally) to the active buffered input parameters. The amplifiers are perfectly balanced top-to-bottom and also balanced in input and feedback drive parameters. You have never heard an amplifier with this capability before.

Our OmegaStar EX amplifiers sound bigger, tighter, much more dynamic, stunningly smoother, and absolutely transparent. They have a power bandwidth extending to nearly 500 kHz, slew rates of hundreds of volts per microsecond, and stability so pure that DC balance trimpots are not necessary.
