OmegaStar SF Buffered Line Driver

The OmegaStar SF Buffered Line Driver provides a dedicated, fast, high-current hybrid buffered circuit set designed to enhanced tape loop performance, isolate a passive volume control from circuit loads, and solve other circuit drive limitations. For example, it can be used after a vacuum tube preamplifier to drive long cables or low impedance amplifier inputs.

Many tape decks and signal processors are terrible loads, causing degraded audio performance, especially when the tape decks or processors are connected but turned off! Our hybrid buffered line driver isolates your sources from tape output loads and drives very difficult loads with ease. You will make better sounding tapes and significantly improve the overall musical performance of your system when the tape loops are used. It has one set of line inputs, two sets of line outputs to drive two tape decks or other loads.

The SF chassis has a beautiful double-anodized black aluminum faceplate and a black powdercoated rugged steel chassis. It is 17" wide x 12" deep x 3.5" high, with a shipping weight of about 13 pounds.
