You are not going to believe what happens to the music when, for the first time, a DAC is engineered without compromise, using all components exactly as the manufacturers specify. We spent two years evaluating available converter and filter chips and have selected digital components that can output a completely symmetrical (top-to-bottom and left-to-right) wave form recovering correctly all of the digital data. We created a true 16-bit 4x oversampling design because 1 bit processors simply don't work for music — they are far too slow. The uniquely pure digital design is followed by our hybrid current buffered ultra-high-speed audio filter/amplifiers to make sure all the music, and nothing but the music, gets to you.

Listeners tell us the Insight TOPP-DAC sounds like a $10,000 analog turntable/cartridge setup, but without the mistracking, noise, or wear. The purity of voices, the absence of fatigue, the definition and space, and the intelligibility of the performances will stop you in your tracks. The midrange musicality and inner detail is breathtaking.

All you need to have astonishing CD musicality is any good tracking CD player with a coaxial digital output and the TOPP-DAC. A single interconnect cable goes from the digital out on your CD player (bypassing all of its compromised converter and analog circuits) to the digital input on the TOPP-DAC. Connect the left and right line outputs from the TOPP-DAC to a set of line inputs on your preamp or receiver and prepare to be amazed. Factory wired in the compact SF chassis, 12" wide, 11" deep, 3.5" high, 10 pounds.
