Broker your equipment and trade up to new AVA equipment

Prospective sellers, if you need to sell used AVA equipment in order to buy new AVA equipment from us, we will broker your old AVA equipment, provide the prospective buyer a factory warranty, and charge you just 15% for our service.

When we broker your existing AVA electronics towards the purchase of new, the used equipment must be sent to us for our evaluation. We will suggest a fair used price for it (typically about 70% of new for newer equipment and 30% to 60% for older models). If you agree we will list the equipment for sale. We will guarantee prospective buyers that the description of the equipment is accurate. We will clean the controls and switches as possible to put the equipment in good working order. We will clean up faceplates and knobs as possible. However, any repairs necessary to make the unit sellable are your responsibility — we will advise you of the estimated costs.

When the equipment sells (the buyer pays us directly) we will ship it to the buyer and provide a 90 day limited parts and labor warranty or transfer the balance of the original AVA warranty to the new owner, whichever is longer.

We will credit the seller with 85% of the sale price toward the purchase of new AVA made equipment. No cash disbursements will be made other than as reimbursement against sales paid for in full in anticipation of our sale of the used equipment. We charge 15% of the used equipment sale price as a reasonable fee to cover our overheads.

If we cannot sell the equipment at a fair price then we will not charge the owner for our listing, testing, and clean up service for that equipment.

Sell your equipment outright

We are expanding our brokerage service to assist owners of legitimate AVA equipment who want to sell their equipment outright without upgrading to other AVA equipment. If you want to sell your AVA equipment outright, you may now do so through us. The only difference between the terms for upgrading versus selling is that if you are selling outright the consignment fee will be 30% instead of 15%. Keep in mind that this fee covers our time to inspect and test the unit, make minor repairs, clean the controls and switches, and provide a reasonable parts and labor warranty to the next buyer. Keep in mind too that we will likely get a much better price for the equipment as the buyer will be dealing factory direct and getting a factory warranty and satisfaction guarantee.
